The painting celebrates the Pilbara, with its earthy colours, the very popular Mulla Mulla and respects the connection Indigenous people have to this land
From the artist, Victor Bellotti:
I am an Indigenous artist, works range from abstract, portraits to Indigenous contemporary.
I have land connections across the Pilbara and Gascoyne, I belong to the Martu, Yindjibarndi and Yamatji.
My art is a release of ideas, a small look in to my thoughts and views and very rewarding hobby.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I am working and live, the Ngarluma, and Yindjibarndi people. I pay respects to their elders past, present, and emerging.
